VENEtoGO: A CYCLING TOGETHER WITH CHAMPIONS FOR FUN. PP Sport Events has opened registration with a super bonus for those who register by 15 June!!!
No, it is not a ‘conventional’ granfondo. VENEtoGO is experiencing cycling as fun, socialising, feeling part of wonderful landscapes and not just crossing them, tasting delicacies together with friends, cycling on the roads of champions together with champions. Not behind, but alongside them.
This is what will happen on 15 October 2022, the day of the second edition of VENEtoGO, the unique social ride that will act as a prelude to the Veneto Classic for professionals, treading the same roads as the finale. The main part of the route will in fact be drawn in the hilly territory of Vicenza between the rivers Brenta and Astico, with wide scenic stretches, some ‘peppery’ climbs but accessible to all, and some unpublished insertions of which the details are being perfected.
PP Sport Events, which is in charge of the organisation, has officially opened registration with a super bonus for those who don’t waste any time: until 15 June the fee is set at 75 euros. The other two brackets: 100 euros from 15 June to 31 August, 120 euros from 1 September to 13 October.
“A pedal ride without rankings does not have anything less, on the contrary, it can give much more – says Filippo Pozzato, general manager of PP Sport Events -. VENEtoGO wants to be a moment of celebration and light-heartedness in which the bike is indeed the protagonist, but actually becomes the pretext to experience a day with a smile”.
And if a healthy confrontation between fellow cyclists can contribute to the fun, there will be no shortage of opportunities: PP Sport Events has planned three short timed climbs.
Various champions who have made recent cycling history are confirmed to participate in VENEtoGO. One name above all: Fabian Cancellara.
The starts will be French style, with the various groups led by cycling champions.
The welcome programme for participants is all about abundance. All registered participants will receive a premium race kit, while three gourmet refreshment points with hot dishes and premium products will be set up along the route. Music will be a constant. At the end again gastronomy and music to celebrate all together the worthy finale of a day well summarised by the motto “Don’t race, have fun“.
